Essex garden room

We were asked to provide a dramatic garden room extension to a 15th century home in Essex and as the house has a crown post roof frame it seemed the natural choice of truss for the new building. At last it gave us the chance to use some fantastic bends that we had been hoarding for just such a frame! The frame has a small aisle and is to be glazed in the gable end and will provide a stunning place to view the surrounding Essex countryside from.
